Man Charged After Teen Shot Dead in London Park

Fatal Shooting Rocks Ladbroke Grove

A 25-year-old man has been charged with murder and attempted murder after 15-year-old Rene Graham was fatally shot in Ladbroke Grove last year. The tragic attack took place in Emslie Horniman’s Pleasance Park at around 7.20pm on Sunday, 21 July 2024.

Suspect in Custody

The Metropolitan Police confirmed that Abderahman Boumzough, of no fixed address, was arrested on Tuesday, 2 September and charged on Wednesday, 3 September. He is due to appear at Highbury Magistrates’ Court today. A second man was also targeted in the incident but escaped unharmed.

Family Support and Ongoing Investigation

Rene’s family have been informed and continue to receive support from specialist police officers. Detectives stress that the investigation is ongoing.
