Car Ablaze on London Highway Sparks Fiery Scene
The London Fire Brigade raced to a blazing car fire on The Highway last Saturday evening. The alarm was raised at around 7.45pm on September 27.

Firefighters from Shadwell were quick off the mark, dousing the flames before anyone was hurt. Their swift action contained the blaze swiftly and effectively, preventing injuries and further damage.
Witnesses Stunned by Intense Flames
Passersby stopped dead in their tracks, filming the fiery inferno with their phones. Many commented on the searing heat radiating from the burning car as they hurried past the scene.

A London Fire Brigade spokesperson said: “We were called at 1942 hrs on Saturday (27 September) to reports of a car alight on The Highway, E1. One fire engine from Shadwell Fire Station attended and extinguished the fire. There were no reports of any injuries.”
