Police Close A322 Lightwater following Serious Collision

Officers from Surrey Roads Policing are dealing with a serious collision on the A322,near Lightwater this evening. A hard closure has been put in place in both directions from M3 Motorway to the Gordon Boys roundabout. The closure is likely to be in place for sometime through out the evening whilst Police carry out Collision scene investigation work. Drivers are being asked to avoid the area. it is understood that the multi vehicle collision involving a number of cars and a motorcycle. please have since confirmed that the A322 has reopened but the M3 slip remains closed.
