Murder Probe Launched After Double Stabbing Near Crossharbour Station

A murder investigation is underway following a double stabbing in Poplar.

Deadly Attack in Alexia Square

Police were scrambled just after 6pm on Friday, 10 July, to reports of two men stabbed at Alexia Square, close to Crossharbour DLR station in E14.

Officers found one male, believed to be in his late teens or early 20s, with fatal stab wounds. Despite frantic first aid from emergency services, he was declared dead at the scene. Next of kin have yet to be informed.

Second Victim Hospitalised

A second man, also thought to be in his late teens, was rushed by ambulance to an East London hospital. Police are awaiting updates on his condition.

Ongoing Investigation, No Arrests Yet

A crime scene remains in place and enquiries are ongoing. No arrests have been made.
