Fire Erupts at Prospect Park Hospital in Reading
Firefighters from Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue rushed to Prospect Park Hospital this morning (Monday 4th January 2021) after smoke was spotted pouring from the roof. Crews from across Reading scrambled to tackle the blaze at the mental health facility’s main site in Berkshire.
No Injuries Reported Amid Roof Fire
Thankfully, there have been no reports of injuries as firefighters were seen battling flames on the roof area. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
