Teen Stabbed on Busy High Road – Police Launch Investigation
At 2.15pm this afternoon, police rushed to reports of an assault on High Road, E11, where they found a teenage boy severely injured with stab wounds.
Heroic Bystanders Rush to Help Bleeding Teen
A crowd quickly gathered around the bleeding youngster, who was “bleeding from the injury and from the mouth,” according to Abdullah, a worker at nearby Milano Pizza. He dashed off to grab clothes to apply pressure and try to stop the bleeding.
“I had just returned to the shop when he came next door and said ‘help me’ before collapsing to the ground,” Abdullah recalled. “He was severely bleeding and there was blood all over the place.”
Emergency Services Arrive, But Teen’s Condition Critical
The Met Police confirmed officers and an ambulance swiftly responded to the scene on Saturday, 6 August. The victim, believed to be in his late teens, was discovered with multiple stab wounds.
“Police were called at about 2.15pm to reports of an assault on High Road, E11,” said a Met Police spokesperson. “Officers and the Ambulance Service responded and found the injured man.”
Community Shocked as Investigation Continues
Bystanders described a large crowd desperately trying to save the teenager, who was bleeding profusely. “He was probably dead by the time the cops arrived,” a witness said, describing the grim scene.
Authorities have launched an investigation and are appealing for anyone with information to come forward as they work to piece together what happened on this busy street.
