Hit-and-Run in Stirling: Police Hunt Driver Who Left Woman Injured

Police are on the lookout for witnesses after a shocking hit-and-run on King Street, Stirling. A 63-year-old woman was hit by a grey VW Golf while crossing the road on Saturday, 14 January at around 2.20pm.

Victim Seriously Injured

The woman suffered a serious leg injury and was rushed to Forth Valley Hospital by emergency services. The car involved had been parked nearby before it sped off – leaving the victim in distress.

Police Appeal for Dashcam Footage

Sergeant Lee Walkingshaw said: “The driver failed to stop and we believe they fled towards Corn Exchange Road. Our investigation is ongoing, and we are keen to find the culprit.”

He added, “If you were in the area at the time, please check your dashcam footage and get in touch. If you witnessed the collision or saw where the car went, and haven’t spoken to officers yet, please contact us immediately.”
