A man suffered serious head and facial injuries when a car toppled on him in St Peter’s, near Broadstairs, triggering a dramatic air ambulance rescue. Emergency services rushed to Hugin Avenue at around 4:30pm after reports of the alarming incident.

The Kent Surrey Sussex Air Ambulance landed nearby just 30 minutes later, highlighting the gravity of the situation.

Injured Man Flown to London for Emergency Care

An ambulance service spokesperson said: “Multiple crews attended the scene and assessed and treated one patient before being joined by The Air Ambulance Charity, Kent Surrey Sussex.”

The victim was airlifted to King’s College Hospital in London for urgent treatment of his serious head and facial injuries.
