Man stabbed to death at Whitechapel house party – Six held
Detectives are hunting for witnesses after a man was fatally stabbed during a chaotic house party in Whitechapel on Saturday, 23 November.
Deadly brawl erupts at Buckle Street party
Detective Inspector Will White revealed the victim, a 27-year-old man, was killed in a violent fight that erupted at a residential address on Buckle Street, E1. Three others suffered knife wounds but none were life-threatening.
Seven men arrested amid murder probe
Six men aged between 23 and 29 have been arrested on suspicion of murder and attempted murder. They remain in police custody. A seventh man, 26, is also under arrest but is being treated in hospital for injuries sustained during the melee.
Police appeal for witnesses to step forward
Police were called at 8.48am after reports of a stabbing. The victim was found with knife wounds and pronounced dead at the scene just before 10am. DI White urged anyone present at the party to come forward, no matter how small the information might seem.
“You may have information that confirms something we have been told, or you may hold information that is vital to the investigation. Either way, please don’t hesitate, make the call,”
he said, stressing the importance of witness cooperation as officers carry out a full murder inquiry.
