Teen, 18, Fatally Stabbed in Islington Knife Attack

Detectives have named the victim in a deadly stabbing in Islington as 18-year-old Kamal Nuur. Police were called to North Road, N7, at 8pm on Monday, 14 September, after Kamal was found with stab wounds.

Despite paramedics’ desperate efforts, Kamal was pronounced dead at the scene.

Kamal Chased and Attacked in Brutal Assault

Investigators say Kamal was chased and stabbed by two male suspects near Goodinge Close, just off North Road. The attackers fled towards York Way after the incident.

A post-mortem is set for Thursday, 17 September at Whittington Hospital as Specialist Crime North Command detectives lead the probe.

Police Urge Witnesses to Come Forward

“Another senseless knife attack has left a family mourning. We believe Kamal was chased a short distance before being fatally attacked,” said DCI Andy Partridge.

“There are people out there who saw something. We urge anyone with information to come forward and help us catch those responsible.”

No arrests have yet been made.
