Teenager Stabbed to Death in Islington

Detectives have named the victim of a fatal stabbing in Islington as 18-year-old Kamal Nuur. Police rushed to North Road, N7, at 8pm on Monday, 14 September, after a male was found with stab wounds.

Paramedics battled to save Kamal at the scene, but he was pronounced dead. His family have been informed.

Chased and Attacked in Goodinge Close

Sources say Kamal was chased and stabbed by two men in Goodinge Close, N7, near North Road. The suspects fled towards York Way soon after the attack.

A post-mortem is scheduled for Thursday, 17 September at Whittington Hospital.

Police Plea for Witnesses After Senseless Killing

Detective Chief Inspector Andy Partridge from Specialist Crime North Command said:

“Another senseless knife attack has left a family mourning the loss of their loved one. We believe Kamal was chased a short distance before being fatally wounded. I’m confident people saw something that can help us catch those responsible.”

No arrests have been made yet. Detectives urge anyone with information or who witnessed the attack to call 101 quoting reference CAD 7154/14 Sept.
