Man, 49, Arrested After Woman Found Dead in Lowestoft
A 49-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a woman died suddenly under suspicious circumstances in Lowestoft.
Ambulance Called to Suspicious Death
The Ambulance Service alerted police following reports of the woman’s sudden death. Officers are treating the case as suspicious pending a Home Office post-mortem set for Sunday, March 2.
The suspect is currently held at Great Yarmouth Police Investigation Centre, where detectives are questioning him.

A spokesperson for Suffolk Police reassured the public that this is an isolated incident. They confirmed the victim and the man arrested were known to each other.
