Serious Assault Outside Encore Pub in Southampton
Police are hunting witnesses after a brutal attack outside the Encore pub in Southampton.
Man Left Fighting for Life
Just after midnight on Saturday, 22 July, a 29-year-old man was assaulted on Commercial Road. He suffered severe head and neck injuries and is now in a life-threatening condition at Southampton General Hospital.
A 27-year-old also caught in the attack sustained minor injuries.
Police Seek Witnesses
Officers believe at least two men carried out the vicious assault. If you were near the pub around 12.30am to 1am—maybe waiting for a taxi—police want to hear from you.
