Man, 22, Critical After Stabbing Outside West London Prayer Centre

A 22-year-old man is fighting for his life after being stabbed outside a Muslim prayer centre in Hounslow, west London.

Brutal Attack in Broad Daylight

Emergency services rushed to Hanworth Road, near the High Street junction, at 2:21pm following reports of a stabbing. Officers from the Metropolitan Police and paramedics from London Ambulance Service found the victim with multiple stab wounds.

He was treated at the scene by ambulance crews, an advanced paramedic practitioner and the Valley Air Ambulance before being rushed to a major trauma centre. Police confirmed he remains in a critical condition.

Major Police Operation Underway

A crime scene has been set up, causing several bus route diversions as detectives investigate. So far, no arrests have been made.

The Met’s Counter Terrorism Command has also attended the scene as a precaution given the attack’s location outside a Muslim prayer centre. The motive remains unclear.

“Enquiries are ongoing. Anyone with information is urged to call police on 101, quoting reference 4387/22Jun,” a police spokesperson said.

Witnesses Sought as Area Remains Sealed Off

Officers are conducting door-to-door enquiries and reviewing CCTV from nearby shops and transport hubs. The public is urged to come forward with any details.

The London Ambulance Service added: “We sent ambulance crews, an incident response officer, and an advanced paramedic practitioner. The Thames Valley Air Ambulance also attended. The man was treated at the scene before being taken to a London major trauma centre.”
