Man Seriously Hurt in Early Morning Crash on Kingsbury Road, Erdington

Urgent Rescue Effort at 4:46 a.m.

A man was left fighting for life after a single-car crash in Erdington, Birmingham, in the early hours of Sunday, November 3, 2024. The West Midlands Ambulance Service got a frantic 999 call at 4:46 a.m. reporting the smash on Kingsbury Road.

Within five minutes, two ambulances, a paramedic officer, and a MERIT trauma team rushed to the scene.

Trapped and Critical: Rapid Extrication

West Midlands Ambulance Service revealed crews found the man trapped inside his car in a serious condition. “Our ambulance team acted fast, working with fire crews to get him out quickly while giving vital trauma care,” a spokesperson said.

After stabilising him at the scene, paramedics whisked the injured man to Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham with blue lights flashing.

Investigation Underway, Public Urged to Help

There were no other passengers in the vehicle. The cause of the crash remains unknown, and police have launched an investigation.
