Hammer Attack Horror on Blackpool Promenade!
Man, 60s, Attacked by Two Ebike Thugs
A man in his 60s was out walking his two dogs near the Glitter Ball on Blackpool’s Promenade at around 11:30pm on Saturday, April 1. Suddenly, he was confronted by two suspects on black Ebikes.
The pair demanded his phone. When he refused, they launched a brutal hammer attack.
Victim Escapes Despite Serious Assault
After a violent struggle, the victim managed to escape the scene. Police say both suspects are aged between 17 and 19.
Suspects’ Distinctive Gear
- One wore a black puffer jacket, possibly North Face, black joggers, red socks, black trainers, and a balaclava.
- The other was in a black puffer jacket and jogging bottoms, with a striking flame face covering.
Suspects Injured During Attack
Police believe one attacker suffered a leg injury, while the other has a significant facial wound and has yet to seek medical help.
