Boy Bitten on Leg, Trousers Torn

A young boy was bitten on the leg by a Rottweiler, leaving him in pain and with torn trousers. The attack happened around 5pm on Saturday, 11 March 2023, at the Pirate Play Park in Carrington, just off Loscoe Road.

Owner Spotted Leaving via Mansfield Road

The dog’s owner, described as a large-built woman with dark hair, reportedly left the park through the Mansfield Road exit, leaving police hunting for her.

Police Appeal for Witnesses

Police Constable John Pearson from Nottinghamshire Police said: “The dog was off its lead when it ran up to the boy and bit him. Thankfully, his injuries are not serious.”

He added: “We’re urging anyone who saw what happened or has information to come forward. We also want the owner to do the right thing and contact us.”
