Tragic Death of Motorcyclist in Romsey After Falling Tree Strikes
Tributes have poured in for Jak Jake Podesta, 28, who tragically died after being hit by a falling tree in Romsey. The incident happened around 8.30pm on September 14 as Jak rode along Greatbridge Road.
Beloved Son and Brother Remembered
Jak, from Muss Lane, King’s Somborne, was pronounced dead at the scene despite rescue efforts. His family described him as a “beloved son and brother” with a sharp wit and a joyful spirit.
“Jake put a smile on many faces with his quick-witted humour and jovial attitude,” his family said. “He even expressed himself through rap music about life’s twists and turns. He will be sorely missed by all his family and friends.”
