Fatal Crash Shuts Down Cliff Parade in Leigh-on-Sea

Cliff Parade in Leigh-on-Sea is set to stay closed until early Monday morning, August 31, following a tragic collision. Police rushed to the scene just before 6:35pm on Sunday after reports of a crash involving a blue Yamaha motorbike.

Young Biker Dies at Scene

Tragically, the rider, a man in his 20s from Basildon, was pronounced dead at the scene. Officers immediately began gathering witness statements but believe some crucial witnesses may have left without speaking to them.

Police Seek Driver of White Van

Detectives are especially eager to speak to the driver of a white van seen speeding away from the crash site shortly after the collision. Police believe the driver and any passengers could hold vital information about the incident.

Witnesses Urged to Come Forward
