The raid left the store badly damaged, with a haul of cigarettes and booze stolen.
Chase Ends in Arrests
On the way, officers spotted a shady vehicle and pulled it over. When it bolted, a high-speed pursuit ensued, with help from the police helicopter.
The chase finished near a Strood woodland, where officers and a police dog scoured the area.
Two Men Cuffed and in Custody
Local cops soon found two men in their thirties from the Medway area. Both were arrested and remain in custody, facing charges linked to the break-in.
