Teenager Assaulted in Tonbridge Alleyway – Mysterious Good Samaritan Steps In
A teenage girl was grabbed and assaulted while walking through a quiet alleyway in Tonbridge, Kent, last Thursday afternoon.
Attack in Broad Daylight
The victim entered the alley off Lodge Oak Lane around 3.20pm on 28 June 2018. Suddenly, a man approached her from behind and inappropriately touched her legs.
Just then, an unknown woman rushed past the suspect, elbowing him before fleeing the scene with the victim.
Police Hunting Suspect and Heroic Woman
Kent Police described the suspect as a black male in his 20s, about 5ft 2ins tall. He had shaved sides with curly hair on top, deep forehead wrinkles, and a chubby face. At the time, he wore a black hoodie, beige knee-length shorts, and carried a black Nike gym bag.
Detectives have launched a full investigation, conducting house-to-house visits and reviewing CCTV footage. They are most eager to identify and speak to the brave woman who intervened.
