Terrifying Stabbing Near Upton Park Tube Leaves Man Fighting for Life
Chaos erupted on Harold Road near Upton Park Underground Station last Wednesday evening, December 20, when a 20-year-old man was brutally stabbed. Police were called to the scene at 6:32pm, triggering a rapid response from the Metropolitan Police, London Ambulance Service, and even the London Air Ambulance.
Victim in Critical Condition After Stabbing
Officers arrived to find the young man suffering from serious stab wounds. Paramedics rushed to treat him at the scene before he was flown to the Royal London Hospital. He remains in a critical state, battling for his life.
Roads Closed as Police Launch Full Investigation
The area around Harold Road is now cordoned off, with several road closures in place to aid a thorough investigation. Despite the heavy police presence, no arrests have been made yet.
Police Urge Witnesses to Step Forward
The Met are desperate for anyone with information to come forward. Their spokesman said:
“Police were called to Harold Road near Upton Park Underground Station at about 18:32hrs on 20 December following reports of a stabbing. Upon arrival, a 20-year-old man with stab injuries was found. He was treated at the scene before being taken to the Royal London Hospital where he remains in critical condition. Several road closures are in place at the location. At this early stage, no arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing.”
