Stabbing Horror in Gillingham: Bloody Weapon Found in Bushes
Weapon Recovered Near Murder Scene
Police hunting a killer in Gillingham have found a bloody weapon in bushes near the alley where a man was brutally stabbed. The victim collapsed yards from where the attack happened in Fox Street.
Forensics and Drones Join the Hunt
Specialist officers have scoured the area with sniffer teams and even deployed a police drone to check nearby rooftops. A forensics expert carefully bagged the weapon in a plastic tube as part of the ongoing hunt.
35-Year-Old Man Stabbed to Death
Emergency services rushed to Fox Street at 1.10pm on Friday 20 December but sadly a 35-year-old man was pronounced dead on scene. Police say he suffered stab wounds after an argument with another man on the street.
Police Continue Manhunt, No Arrests Yet
Murder detectives from Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate are investigating. Officers remain at the scene and are searching for the suspect and any other discarded weapons.
No arrests have been made so far.
