Two Arrested After Teen Fatally Stabbed in Coventry
Two boys have been arrested following the fatal stabbing of 16-year-old Ramani Morgan in Coventry last night. The young victim was found collapsed with stab wounds on Clay Lane, Stoke, just after 10:30pm on Saturday, 29 February.
Tragic Death at Coventry Party
Ramani, from Birmingham, was rushed to hospital but tragically died despite urgent medical treatment. Two 17-year-old boys are now in custody, suspected of murder. Police believe the incident is linked to a party on nearby Chandos Street.
Forensics Swarm Crime Scene
Officers have been working through the night, holding several scenes around the area for forensic exams. Detective Inspector Michelle Allen expressed her sorrow, saying, “This is simply tragic. My thoughts remain with Ramani’s family and friends at this heart-breaking time.”
Police Appeal for Witnesses
DI Allen urged anyone who attended the party or has information to come forward. She also called on drivers with dash-cam footage from the area to get in touch. “A young boy has died and we need to understand exactly what happened,” she said.
