Cop Seriously Attacked by Two Men in Sutton Road
A Kent Police officer was brutally assaulted on Woodside Road in Mangravet, Sutton, at around 11.15am on Wednesday 21 October 2020.
Attack While Carrying Out Enquiries
The Police Constable was on duty, approaching a man sitting in a car, when he was suddenly and seriously attacked. Two men in their 20s then fled the scene.
Suspects Caught and Held in Custody
Backup officers quickly tracked down and arrested both suspects nearby. They remain in police custody as investigations continue.
Officer Hospitalised but Stable
The injured officer was rushed to hospital and has since been discharged but will require further treatment.
