Terrifying Pit Bull Attack in Birkenhead Leaves Woman Injured
A nightmare unfolded on Saturday evening as a woman in her 50s was savagely attacked by a pit bull at a home on Orrets Meadow Road, Woodchurch Estate, Birkenhead. The victim suffered serious bites to her face, neck, and arms before police rushed to the scene around 5:30pm.
Man Injured and Suspect Arrested
A man present during the attack also sustained hand injuries but was treated immediately on site by emergency crews. Meanwhile, a man in his 50s has been arrested on suspicion of owning a banned dog breed and allowing a dog dangerously out of control.
