Woman Dies and Man Airlifted After Horror Crash in Clifton on Teme

Single-Vehicle Crash Rocks B4204

A tragic accident this morning in Clifton on Teme has claimed the life of a woman and left a man fighting for life. Emergency services were scrambled to the B4204 at 10:58 AM following reports of a serious single-vehicle collision.

The car had veered off the road and flipped onto its side in a nearby field, smashing up badly. West Midlands Ambulance Service rushed two ambulances, paramedic officers, and the Midlands Air Ambulance to the scene.

Woman Dies at the Scene, Man Trapped Inside

A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman revealed: “There were two patients. The woman was found in a critical condition. Despite the best efforts of ambulance staff, sadly nothing could be done to save her and she was confirmed dead at the scene.”

The male passenger was trapped inside the wreckage and had to be rescued by firefighters. He suffered serious injuries and was treated on site before being airlifted to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham for urgent care.

Road Closed and Investigation Underway

The B4204 remains closed as emergency crews clear the aftermath. Authorities have launched an investigation to uncover what caused the devastating crash.
