Deadly Smash at Busy Junction

A man lost his life yesterday after a car slammed into his mobility scooter at the busy intersection of Livingstone Road and Alcester Road South in Kings Heath.

Emergency Crews Race to Scene

West Midlands Ambulance Service was called at 2.30pm. They dispatched two ambulances, a paramedic officer, a MERIT trauma doctor, and the West Midlands Care Team to the horrific crash site.

Life-Saving Efforts Fail

On arrival, crews found the man in critical condition. Despite administering advanced life support immediately, medics were unable to save him. He was pronounced dead at the scene, a spokesman confirmed.

“Ambulance personnel immediately began providing advanced life support, but despite their best efforts, it became clear that nothing could be done to save the man,” said a West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman.
