Man Charged with Leytonstone Murder After Fatal Stabbing
Police launched an investigation after being called to a property on South Birkbeck Road, E11, just before midnight on Thursday, 18 April.
Victim Identified as 23-Year-Old Petro Bebko
The victim, Petro Bebko, 23, from Leytonstone, tragically died from a stab wound to the neck. His family have been informed.
Suspect Arrested and Charged
Mykola Yakymets, 34, who lived at the same address as Bebko, was arrested at the scene. On Sunday, 21 April, he was charged with the murder of Petro Bebko.
Yakymets is set to appear in custody at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 22 April.
