Man Stabbed to Death in Early Morning Attack on Ballards Lane
Tragedy struck in North London after a man was found fatally stabbed in the early hours of Friday, 27 May.
Victim Dies at Scene Despite Emergency Efforts
Police were called to Ballards Lane, N12, at 4.05am following reports of a violent incident. Officers, along with the London Ambulance Service, discovered a critically injured man who sadly died at the scene despite their efforts.
The victim has been named as 55-year-old Nicholas Sutin. A post-mortem at Northwick Park Hospital Mortuary confirmed his death was caused by head injuries and a stab wound to the neck.
Suspect Arrested and Charged with Murder
Jermaine Myers, 36, of Woodhouse Road, N12, was arrested on the evening of Saturday, 28 May. He faces charges of murdering Nicholas Sutin, possession of an offensive weapon, and possession of a pointed or bladed article.
Myers is due to appear in custody at Willesden Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 30 May.
