Drug Dealer Lewis Barton Jailed for Over Five Years
Lewis Barton, 39, from Upton Road, has been handed a hefty sentence of five years and seven months. The Reading Crown Court delivered the verdict last Friday (14/4) after Barton pleaded guilty to major drug charges.
Guilty Pleas to Cocaine and Heroin Supply
Back in November, Barton admitted to two counts of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs — cocaine and heroin — plus one count of possessing criminal property. The confession sealed his fate.
Police Bust Reveals Drugs and Cash
On 12 October last year, police stopped a car on Hanover 123 with Barton as a passenger. Officers found heroin and more than £1,000 in cash inside. A subsequent raid on a property on 1 Road uncovered additional cocaine and heroin.
