Horror Crimes Behind Bars
- In 2010, Smith was jailed for raping a young girl at least eight times.
- He tied her to a bed and beat her while she was helpless.
- On another occasion, he locked her in a garden shed and assaulted her there.
- He dragged the terrified girl down the street by her hair — caught on camera.
- Smith committed these atrocities while armed with a knife, terrifying his victim even more.
He was convicted on eight counts of raping a child under 16, living in Hainault at the time.
Escape, Re-Arrest, and Release
Smith escaped from a secure mental health hospital where he was held after his arrest. He was caught again six weeks later.
After serving his sentence, he was released in 2017 and moved to Devon — only to be arrested again and put back behind bars.

He is currently living in Dagenham, Essex, with a girlfriend who is fully aware of his dark past and continues to support him.
