Drug Dealer Nabbed with £3,500 Cash and Class A Stash in Aldershot – Jailed for Over 5 Years!
Police Strike Big Blow to Aldershot Drug Scene
Joshua Bowen, 27, a local drug dealer from Aldershot’s High Street, has been locked up for five years and seven months. Officers uncovered a haul of crack cocaine, heroin, and over £3,500 in cash during a police raid on 10 October.
Class A Drugs and Cash Found in Warrant Operation
The Priority Crime Team, backed by the Neighbourhood Policing Team, swooped on Bowen’s address and seized the illegal haul. Bowen quickly admitted to two counts of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs, as well as handling criminal property.
Hard-Hitting Sentence Sends Drug Dealer Down
Sentenced at Winchester Crown Court on 5 January, Bowen now faces years behind bars. PC Dan Bilton of Hart and Rushmoor District CID said:
“We found a large amount of Class A drugs and cash during the raid, which led to Bowen’s arrest and prosecution. I’m pleased with today’s sentence – it means another drug dealer is off our streets for a long time.” “This sends a clear message that our officers will not tolerate drug networks targeting Hart and Rushmoor. Drug supply brings misery, crime, and violence to our communities, and we will relentlessly pursue criminals to protect local residents.”
