Brighton Duo Nabbed with Crack and Heroin in Police Sting

Two Brighton men have been slammed with drug charges after cops caught them red-handed with Class A substances. Hodyfa Al-Ani and Robin Paige, both 22, pleaded guilty to dealing crack cocaine and heroin.

Police Spot Suspicious Pair and Strike

Officers became suspicious of Al-Ani and Paige hanging around St George’s Mews on 17 February. The pair were stopped and searched, revealing they were carrying controlled drugs. The hunt also uncovered a knuckle duster on Paige, landing him an extra charge for possession of an offensive weapon.

Quick Court Action Sees Guilty Pleas

Both men were charged the day after their arrest and appeared at Brighton Magistrates’ Court on 18 February. They promptly pleaded guilty to drug supply and possession offences, bringing swift justice for the city’s police force.
