Man Found Unconscious with Head Injury

Police were called at around 1.10am on Sunday, 30th October, after the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service reported a man lying unconscious on the footpath in Portglenone’s Main Street. Aaron Law, a beloved local dad and son, was rushed to hospital with a serious head injury but tragically died.

41-Year-Old Man Arrested and Held

Detective Inspector Michael Hawthorne confirmed a 41-year-old man remains in police custody as investigations continue. “Aaron was a much-loved father of two and cherished son and brother. This is devastating for his family and friends,” Hawthorne said.

Call for Witnesses and Dashcam Footage

Officers are appealing to anyone who was in or around Main Street at the time, or who may have dashcam footage, to come forward. Even the smallest piece of information could help.
