Teen Charged with Attempted Murder in Toxteth Shooting
Rio Jones, from Jermyn Street, Toxteth, has been arrested and charged with attempted murder, possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life, and possession of a controlled drug.
Remanded in Custody Ahead of Court Appearance
The 16-year-old suspect was remanded in custody and is due to appear at Liverpool, Knowsley, Sefton and St Helens adult remand court today, Saturday 5th March.
Victim in Stable Condition
The 15-year-old girl injured in the incident remains in hospital but is reported to be in stable condition.
