Manhunt Intensifies for Clapham Chemical Attack Suspect Abdul Ezedi

The hunt heats up! The Metropolitan Police are on day five of a relentless chase to track down 35-year-old fugitive Abdul Ezedi, wanted over a brutal Clapham chemical attack. A hefty £20,000 reward is on offer for information leading to his arrest.

Horrific Attack Leaves Family Critically Injured

Ezedi launched the horrific attack last Wednesday, leaving a 31-year-old woman with potentially life-changing injuries. The woman’s young daughters, aged eight and three, were also harmed. The woman, who knew Ezedi personally, remains in critical but stable condition in hospital.

Corrosive Chemical Used in Sudden Attack

Police confirmed the suspect deployed a “very strong concentrated corrosive substance” during the assault—an act that underscores the incident’s severity. Detectives say people with info on Ezedi’s whereabouts haven’t come forward yet.

“Anyone found helping this dangerous fugitive will be arrested,” Metropolitan Police warned.

Suspect’s Movements Trace a Flight Through South London

Ezedi, originally granted asylum and previously residing at 123 newcastle/" title="Newcastle" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Newcastle, fled south to London early Wednesday. His car was spotted in Tooting at 6:30 am, croydon/" title="Croydon" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Croydon at 4:30 pm, then Streatham by 7 pm.

At 7:25 pm, during the attack, Ezedi allegedly tossed the younger child to the ground before crashing his vehicle into a parked car and fleeing on foot. He was later seen boarding the Tube at Clapham South and arrived at King’s Cross station by 8 pm.

Brave Locals Hurt Helping Victims

Three members of the public—two in their 30s and one in her 50s—rushed to aid the family. All have been discharged after suffering minor burns.

Authorities are pleading: anyone with information on Abdul Ezedi must come forward immediately to help bring this dangerous man to justice.
