Huge Blaze Tears Through Southampton Restaurant
A fierce fire erupted at a restaurant on Portswood Road, Southampton, around 7.30pm tonight. Fire crews are battling the blaze with everything they’ve got — two aerial ladders, two water carriers, and over seventy firefighters and officers on the scene.
Massive Emergency Response Underway
Teams from St Mary’s, Hightown, Redbridge, Eastleigh, Hamble, and more rushed to fight the inferno. The road is completely closed to traffic and the public as the situation unfolds.
Residents Warned Over Smoke
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service issued a warning for locals to keep windows and doors shut due to heavy smoke in the area.
