Faversham burglar nabbed in swift Kent Police swoop

Early Morning Raid Ends in Arrest

Just before 6am on Thursday, 1 May 2025, Kent Police raced to a grocery store near Bysing Wood Road after a break-in was reported. Thieves allegedly raided a storage unit, making off with items from the Faversham business.

Thanks to a rapid response, officers quickly launched an investigation and by that same morning had made an arrest.

Britney Gibson Charged with Burglary and More

25-year-old Britney Gibson from Priory Place, Faversham, was charged with burglary on Friday, 2 May. But that’s not all – Gibson also faces three theft charges connected to repeated alcohol thefts from Premier Express in Faversham town centre between 20 March and 5 April.

She’s further accused of assaulting a shop worker during an incident at Premier Express on 5 April.

Remanded in Custody, Court Date Set

Gibson has been remanded in custody ahead of her court appearance at Medway Magistrates’ Court on Friday, 2 May 2025.
