Predator Caught at Gatwick with 18,000 Abuse Videos on Phone
Gatwick Horror: Paedophile Nabbed Trying to Fly to France
Fabrizio Broussett, 23, was caught red-handed at Gatwick Airport attempting to fly to France to meet a teenage girl he had been abusing. The Croydon man’s shocking crimes were uncovered after police seized his phone during an unrelated terror investigation in April 2025.
18,000 Sickening Abuse Videos Found on Device
Police found no terror links but uncovered a horrific stash of 18,000 videos. Among them were vile clips showing violent sexual abuse of a 14-year-old girl in France. Officers also discovered 33,000 twisted messages between Broussett and his victim. His phone contained images of her ID and passport, confirming her young age.
“6 days and I’m gonna rape my 14-year-old child,” read one chilling text from Broussett.
French Police Rescue Victim While Broussett Is Arrested
Working with Interpol, Sussex Police tracked down the girl and ensured her safety. Broussett had already visited the child twice, staying at BnBs near Saint-Etienne in February and April 2025. Evidence showed he was planning a third visit before his arrest on 18 May 2025 at Gatwick, attempting to board a flight to Lyon.
Jailed for 15 Years, Must Register as Lifetime Sex Offender
Broussett faced multiple charges including penetrative sexual assault of a child, making indecent images, and arranging child sex offences. He pleaded guilty at Croydon Crown Court on 11 July 2025. The vile paedophile was sentenced to 15 years in prison and must register as a sex offender for life.
