A 46-year-old man was caught and jailed for drug dealing in Peterborough after CCTV operators spotted suspicious activity in Millfield in the early hours. Ladislav Cehelnik, with no fixed address, was arrested by police around 1am on 7 June last year on Lincoln Road following a tip-off from CCTV staff.

CCTV Leads Police

Police were alerted by CCTV operators who believed Cehelnik was involved in drug dealing.

Officers quickly responded and arrested him at the scene.

Drugs And Cash Seized

Upon searching Cehelnik, officers found 12 wraps of crack cocaine and heroin, along with over £150 in cash. A mobile phone was also confiscated, with messages indicating drug supply activities.

Sentenced At Cambridge Crown Court

On Friday, 19 June, Cehelnik admitted possession with intent to supply crack cocaine and heroin. He was subsequently sentenced to two years in prison at Cambridge Crown Court.
