19-Year-Old Gangster Jailed After Shotgun and County Lines Drugs Bust

A 19-year-old gang member has been locked up following a police chase that led to a shotgun discovery and a major county lines drugs racket in Luton.

Police Chase Ends with Shotgun Find

On 15 October 2024, Bedfordshire Police’s Boson guns and gangs unit chased a stolen car linked to Jevonte O’Connor. When the suspects bailed, cops combed the area and found a shotgun dumped under a bridge between Kestrel Way and Coverdale. DNA on the weapon tied straight back to O’Connor.

Raid Uncovers Cash, Designer Bags and Drug Deals

In January 2025, officers raided O’Connor’s Caddington home. They seized multiple phones, piles of cash, drug deal bags, and flashy clothing. Phone records revealed messages pushing Class A drugs and even mentioned the police chase.

A second search uncovered a designer bag hidden behind a bath panel. Inside was nearly £1,000, Class B drugs, and packaging supplies.

Guilty Plea Lands Three-Year Sentence

O’Connor pleaded guilty to four charges of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs, two counts of conspiracy to supply Class A drugs, possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear or violence, dangerous driving, and possession of an offensive weapon.

He was sentenced to three years behind bars at Luton Crown Court on Friday, 13 March.
