Swindon Drug Dealer Locked Up After Crack and Heroin Bust
Police have nailed a key player in Swindon’s drug scene. Fortitude team officers, probing the notorious “CJ line” for crack cocaine and heroin supply, zeroed in on Amin Jama last summer.
Warrant Leads to Major Seizure
In October, cops raided Jama’s Drakes Way home. They seized mobile phones, cash, and drug gear—crucial evidence in their case.
Jama Sentenced to Over Three Years
The 25-year-old, now behind bars at HMP Bristol, had already admitted to dealing crack cocaine and heroin, plus possessing criminal property. This week at Salisbury Crown Court, he was handed a hefty sentence of three years and seven months.
Policing Team Urges Public to Stay Alert
“We understand the impact this criminal activity has on our community,” said PC Craig Head of the Fortitude team. “We are working tirelessly to disrupt these operations and bring dealers to justice.”
“But we can’t do it alone. If you see or suspect drug dealing in your area, report it. Your tips help us build intelligence, leading straight to arrests and jail time.”
Swindon cops are on a mission to wipe out Class A drug dealing. With community help, they’re making serious dents in the drug trade.
