Banbury Drug Dealers Caught and Sentenced
Three criminals in Banbury have been jailed for dealing Class A drugs, including crack and heroin.
Drug Supply Trio Face Justice
Dominic Daly-Vint, 30, from Birmingham, Lewis Ayre, 23, currently at HMP Channings Wood, Devon, and Samantha Halliday, 30, from Banbury, all admitted guilt to two counts of supplying controlled Class A drugs.
At Oxford Crown Court on Friday 17 June, Daly-Vint was handed four years and six months in prison, Ayre got five years and three months, while Halliday received a two-year suspended sentence plus 240 hours of unpaid work.
Drugs Found After Key Arrests
- On 30 March last year, Daly-Vint and Ayre were searched under the Misuse of Drugs Act and arrested after drugs were found.
- Daly-Vint had a key to a house on Hornton Drive, Banbury, where police seized a large haul of Class A drugs.
- Halliday turned up during the search and was arrested on the spot.
- All three were charged on 13 December 2021.
Police Urge Public to Help Stamp Out Drugs
“I am very pleased this investigation has resulted in these convictions,” said PC Jordan McClay from Bicester police station. “We take drug supply very seriously and will keep targeting offenders to bring them to justice.”
