Tributes Pour In from Heartbroken Family

Michael’s mother shared an emotional tribute:

“Michael was a kind man with a large personality and an even larger heart. He was special to a great many people. We are humbled by how many lives he touched during his short time on earth.” “He was the first to help a homeless family member and the last to leave when his brother had surgery. Michael was a loving partner, a devoted father of three, and a rock to his family.” “Though we are shattered by his passing, we choose to honour his legacy by seeking the silver lining amid dark clouds. We thank everyone who has reached out to us during this painful time and ask for privacy as we grieve.”

Police Appeal for Witnesses

Detective Chief Inspector Ashley Howard, leading the probe, said:

“Charges have been filed, but our investigation continues. This attack was targeted and does not pose an ongoing threat to those visiting Lakeside. Anyone with information who hasn’t come forward yet is urged to contact us.”
