Police officers face misconduct charges over sisters’ tragic murder photos

Two Metropolitan Police officers, PC Deniz Jaffer and PC Jamie Lewis, are charged with misconduct in public office. The charges relate to the handling of images of Nicole Smallman, 27, and Bibaa Henry, 46, the sisters brutally murdered last June in Fryent Country Park, Wembley.

Case moved to Old Bailey – plea hearing set

What began at Westminster Magistrates’ Court was swiftly transferred to the Old Bailey on Thursday. A plea hearing for the officers is scheduled for 24 June.

Meanwhile, Danyal Hussein, 19, from Blackheath, faces trial for the sisters’ murders. His trial date is set for 9 June at the Old Bailey.
