Northumbria Police are hunting for witnesses after a deadly motorbike crash on Walker Road, Newcastle, on the evening of Tuesday, 20 May 2025.
At around 7:45 PM, emergency crews rushed to the scene near Belmont Court after a man in his 20s lost control of a white Honda CR motocross bike and smashed into roadside railings. Despite rapid medical attention, the rider was pronounced dead at the scene.

Walker Road, a busy commuter route between Pottery Bank and Belmont Court, was closed for several hours while police launched a full investigation.
“This is a busy stretch of road and we know people were in the area at the time. Any dashcam footage or eyewitness accounts could be vital in piecing together the full circumstances,” said Sergeant Craig Bartle.
