Brazen Theft of Bronze Figurine in Tunbridge Wells Art Gallery

A rare bronze figurine has been stolen from a popular art gallery on Tunbridge Wells’ High Street. The suspicious heist happened shortly after 3pm on 25 July 2020.

Thieves Use Distraction to Swindle 39cm Artwork

The bronze piece, measuring around 39cm tall, was part of a pair—but only one was snatched. Three men entered the gallery, with one tall, mixed-race man in his 40s engaging an employee in conversation to distract them. Meanwhile, the other two suspects, believed to be white, slipped out of sight and made off with the figurine.
