Horror in Pakefield: Elderly Woman Assaulted and Killed in Home Invasion
Police rushed to a Pakefield home just after 1.50pm on Saturday 25 March after an elderly woman was found lying on the floor. The shocking attack happened sometime overnight between Friday evening and early Saturday morning on Grayson Avenue.
Masked Thugs Break In and Attack, Steal Handbag
The victim, in her 80s, reportedly heard a noise at her door before two masked men forced their way inside. They knocked her to the ground and stole her handbag. The bag was later found dumped in Nelson Road, but her purse remains missing.
Victim Dies in Hospital, No Arrests Yet
Despite being found conscious, the woman was in serious condition and rushed to James Paget Hospital. Tragically, she died early Monday morning, 27 March. Police have made no arrests so far as the investigation continues.
