Manhunt Underway for Prison Escapee Cameron Skilton
Sussex Police are hunting 25-year-old Cameron Skilton after he absconded from HMP Ford open prison on June 9 at around 1.30pm. Authorities are now appealing for the public’s help to track him down.
Escapee Linked to Crawley, Hove, Bexhill and Hastings
Skilton is believed to have connections in Crawley, Hove, Bexhill, and Hastings. Officers are following multiple leads in the search for the man who vanished from the Category D men’s prison located near Arundel and Littlehampton in West Sussex.
Skilton’s Criminal Past and Police Warning
Currently serving a sentence for assault and robbery since August 2020, Skilton remains a wanted man.
A Sussex Police spokesperson urged:
“We are appealing to the public to help locate Skilton. Anyone with information should report it online or call 101 quoting 1286 of 09/06. Please do not approach him if spotted.”
